I am very much about the simple and small ways …
This is a drink i have been making in the mornings that is really versatile, creamy, yummy and helpful as i increase protein and good fats.
~ 3 eggs
~ half a stick of butter or about 3 tablespoons of ghee ( i like ghee from www.Goddesghee.com , made in small batches and they have many different unusual blends )
~ 2 tablespoons unrefined coconut oil
~ various spices depending upon what you like. I have been playing with ginger, nutmeg, clove, vanilla powder , cinnamon, cardamom, dried lemon peel, dried orange peel
~ sweetener if you desire, i tend to like it without or with maple syrup …raw honey would be lovely as well
Put everything in a blender and pour in boiling water ( amount can vary depending upon how thick you like it. i usually add about a cup ). Blend, and enjoy either warm and frothy out of the blender, or make at night and put it in the fridge to drink cold in the morning. It gets really nice and creamy this way.
